It was in June 2009 when we came across dirty and injured Abudu (Yunisu's son) being sick with dangerous infection. We took our first aid kit and went to the village to find him.

Yunisu has three children and he was left to take care of his family on his own depsite his difficult health problems with his eyes as he is partially blind. His family was staying at his friend's house as he could not afford to get his own place to live. We have been taking care of his children by supporting them at boarding school.

In February 2011 we decided to help Yunisu by offering him full time job at our orphanage to take care of the garden. Yunisu has faced the first employment and changes in his life. He and his three children have changed location and they are now living in their own house in Mutai and attending a Muslim Primary School 15 minutes away from their home.

Yunisu is now realizing his dreams to provide for his children and taking full responsibility for his family with great pride!
