Whisper is a charity registered in England and Wales, number 1139078. You can find our entry on the website of our regulator, the Charity Commission for England and Wales here.
Fundraising regulator
Our fundraising is regulated by the UK Fundraising Regulator.
US donors
The US-based fundraising platform GlobalGiving, which is a 501(c)3, has vetted us to ensure that US donors qualify for a tax deduction when donating to our projects through their platform.
We also have branches in the Czech Republic and in Uganda.
Czech Republic
Our newest branch Nadační fond Whisper was registered on 4 June 2019 by the District Court in Prague, file number N 1707 / MSPH, as a tax-privileged charitable fund (Nadační fond).

Uganda
Whisper the Union for Childcare, Outreach and Education is a Uganda-registered NGO that was set up to carry out Whisper's work in Uganda.
The NGO is registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Uganda under the National Board of Non-Government Organisation Registration S.5914/10877 to operate within Jinja District and Busoga region with a special emphasis to reduce poverty, provide self-sustainable projects, education and employment to the Ugandan communities, aiming at thousands of children living in poverty and bad conditions. The NGO is registered as an International NGO and it has no trustees or directors of its own as it is considered a branch of Whisper's UK charity. Veronika Cejpkova is Country Director and an employee of the NGO.
